As a Department Manager / Coordinator, you will have the very meaningful job of leading the day-to-day store operations, ensuring your team build memorable experiences and making your customers D.I.Y. projects a reality. Your store will be your pride and joy – you'll use visual merchandising to your best advantage, aligning this to store marketing plans.

What's Involved
- Support the store leadership team
- Set an example of best service and support the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers
- Coach the team on the right service behaviours
- Assist with inducting and training the team
- Ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirements
- Coordinate stock
- Experience supervising and leading customer facing teams in a high safety and high compliance environment
- Strong analytical skills
- A passion for customer service
- Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team
- An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team
- Open communication style
- Be approachable and confident when interacting with customers
- Have an eagerness to learn about new products
- To be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours
