Trainee – Customer Service
Location: Barraba, NSW
THE OPPORTUNITY
Council are on the lookout for our next Trainee to join our Customer Service team!
Our ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys meeting new people and providing information in a polite and professional manner. They will have retail experience restocking merchandise, using a point of sale system and customer service. Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite will be an asset.
To be successful in this role you will have a can-do attitude and excellent customer service.

Salary range: Grade T4- $827.40 per week plus 12% superannuation for a 35 hour week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.

- Complete a Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement)

- Ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping
- Participating fully in training and professional development activities
- NSW Drivers Licence
- School Certificate (Year 10 or equivalent)
- The ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously as required
- General knowledge of the MS Office Suite of products will be advantageous
